Our Farms, Our Future Conference St. Louis MO

Don’t miss the chance to attend  SARE and NCAT/ATTR’s Our Farms, Our Future conference that takes place in St. Louis on April 3-5. The early bird registration deadline for the conference is this Thursday, February 22nd (tomorrow!). They offer discounted farmer and graduate student rates.

This conference will bring together farmers, ranchers, graduate students, researchers, NGO representatives, agency representatives and agribusiness professionals to talk about pressing issues.

  • Tuesday (April 3) will feature a Building Soil Health with Cover Crops and Other Strategies breakout track that includes presentations by 11 soil health experts, including farmers, researchers and USDA agency employees.
  • Wednesday (April 4th) hosts issue-focused breakouts that include discussion of important issues, many of which intersect with soil health like water challenges, farming and ranching in a changing climate and the intersection of economics and the environment.
  • Thursday (April 5th), includes a Soil Health Stewards farm tour exploring how farmers and researchers are working to steward soil health with cover crops, no-till management and other strategies in the St. Louis area. “If you’re excited about soil health and ready to learn more, this tour is for you.
