If you’re going to be a full-time student, undergrad or graduate, during the 2013-14 school year, and are focusing your studies on sustainable ag, listen up; Annie’s, the well-known makers of organic mac n cheese Annie’s, are offering scholarships that you, being a student in the illustrious Illinois higher education system, have a great shot of winning.
The criteria for the scholarship is pretty straightforward. As already mentioned, you need to be a student next year, a full-time student, and be studying at an accredited 2 or 4 year school. The deadline is coming up quick though, December 15, so get on it! The things you’ll need to send are as follows:
- application
- personal statement
- transcript
- two letters of recommendation “who can speak to your commitment to sustainable agriculture” (from Annie’s website)
You should send all of the required documents to Annie’s Scholarship Committee, 1610 Fifth Street, Berkeley CA 94710
Please note that you do not have to be majoring in Sustainable Agriculture, but your transcript should show an interest in the field, and international students are welcome to apply, as long as they are attending a school in the U.S.
Here is the page where you can download the application.
And remember, the deadline to have your mail postmarked by is December 15!!
