Job Opportunity: EFA Program Intern

New this week, the Ecological Farming Association, a non-profit educational organization based out of California, has announced they are looking for an unpaid intern to assist their Program Coordinator. In particular, the EFA is looking for an individual to assist in the coordination of the 2013 EcoFarm Conference in Pacific Grove, CA, the trademark event of the year for them. And just who is the EFA? In  their own words, “The Ecological Farming Association nurtures healthy and just farms, food systems, communities and environment” through “education, alliance building and advocacy”, which has “developed a far-reaching network of people, NGOs, and businesses committed to sustainable agriculture.”

To this end, the EFA is looking for an intern who can commit around 10-15 hours a week to the development of the EcoFarm Conference, the largest and oldest agricultural event in the West. The position will be responsible for assisting with conference outreach by phone and email, creating and entering into databases, and other projects specific to the Conference.
