Fruit IPM Extension Educator-in-Residence

Position Summary The University of Connecticut Integrated Pest Management Program invites applicants for the position of Fruit IPM Extension Educator-in-Residence (Assistant or Associate).  The successful candidate will develop, conduct and evaluate extension IPM educational programs for fruit growers statewide.  The faculty member will use the latest research-based information related to all facets of pest management in tree fruit and small fruit crops.  The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teams of extension educators, specialists and others to plan, implement and evaluate programs statewide.  The faculty member will be expected to secure extramural funding and to develop a diverse portfolio of educational materials for Extension clients and scholarly materials for professional peers.  To fulfill the extension mission, the successful candidate will perform other appropriate duties as needed or assigned.
