The Agricultural Watershed Institute’s annual Sangamon Watershed Celebration will take place June 17th-18th in Decatur. Festivities will kick off at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 17th at the Decatur Civic Center with local food, an art sale, and entertainment by local singer-songwriter Tim Grimm.

The celebration will continue at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 18th at the Rock Springs nature center where Dr. Susan Rupp of South Dakota State University, co-chair of the America’s Grasslands Conference, will discuss the topic, “Going Green: Can Wildlife and Biofuels Be Compatible?” This presentation is free. No tickets or advance registration required.
